Week 5, Thing #11

My favourite site from the Web 2.0 Awards is Google Maps which is more than just lines on the screen. It allows you to search for any map you want in the world. With Street View, Aerial View, Advanced direction, Google Maps leads the mapping field.

Yes, I love Google Maps, too. It's a fantastic resource.

Any ideas on how you could use it with your classes?

If I take my students for outing, I will propose to them to use Google Maps to get themselves familiarise with the destination before departure.
